Der Vorstand der HIT International Trading AG („Gesellschaft“ oder „HIT AG“) hat heute den Jahresabschluss der HIT AG und den des Konzerns für 2007 aufgestellt.
Wie bereits im Vorjahr war die Lage der Gesellschaft von der Suche nach neuen Geschäftsfeldern geprägt, insbesondere weil sämtliche operativen Tätigkeiten im Papierhandel im Berichtsjahr von der 100%´igen Tochtergesellschaft, der HPT Paper Trading GmbH, Wien (HPT), abgewickelt wurden und diese planmäßig den in den Vorjahren defizitären Papierhandel im 1. Quartal 2007 eingestellt hat. Aus diesem Grund erzielte die HIT AG im Berichtsjahr, wie bereits im Vorjahr, keinen Umsatz aus operativer Tätigkeit. Lediglich im Konzern wurde ein Umsatz aus dem Papierhandel in Höhe von T€ 383 erzielt.
Insgesamt wurde 2007 jedoch von der HIT AG ein Jahresüberschuss in Höhe von T€ 1.258 (Vorjahr: Jahresfehlbetrag T€ 63) sowie ein Konzernjahresüberschuss von T€ 214 (Vorjahr T€ 1.147) erwirtschaftet, der im Wesentlichen auf das aktive Finanzanlagenmanagement der Gesellschaft zurückzuführen ist.
Der mit einem russischen Hersteller bestehende Papierliefervertrag konnte erwartungsgemäß im ersten Quartal des Geschäftsjahres nicht verlängert werden, so dass die Grundlage der bisherigen Tätigkeit des Konzerns keinen Bestand mehr hatte.
Im vierten Quartal des Geschäftsjahres konnte der Vorstand der Gesellschaft mit der Firma Humboldt Wedag GmbH, Köln (HW), einer Gesellschaft im Bereich des Engineering und Anlagenbaus, ein Konzept für ein neues Geschäftsfeld erarbeiten. Dieses Konzept sieht unter anderem die Beratung und Erbringung von Serviceleistungen im Bereich des technischen und betriebswirtschaftlichen Managements von Zementproduktionsanlagen vor.
Ende Dezember 2007 erwarb die HW eine Mehrheitsbeteiligung an der HIT AG. Vereinbarungsgemäß trat der bisherige Vorstand der HIT AG nach Übernahme der Mehrheitsbeteiligung durch die HW zurück um die baldige Aufnahme der neuen Tätigkeitsfelder unter der direkten Leitung von Spezialisten für den neuen Tätigkeitsbereich zu erleichtern.
Für das laufende Jahr steht die eingehende Prüfung und Vorbereitung der Aufnahme des neuen Geschäftsfeldes im Vordergrund der geschäftlichen Aktivitäten der Gesellschaft.
